What we’re looking for
We are looking for a driven and hands-on IT & Security Manager to build, secure, and operate our mission-critical infrastructure. You will own our Microsoft ecosystem, deploy and harden cloud and on-prem systems, and establish robust security standards across the organization. Operating across strategy and execution, you will ensure compliance, protect our environment, and provide reliable First- to Third-Level Support. This is a high-impact role where you enable teams with secure, high-performance IT while shaping our security foundation as we scale.
The day-to-day
- Control the Perimeter – Own and harden our Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and device management environment — and everything connected to it.
- Build the Backbone – Deploy and maintain core IT infrastructure across cloud, on-prem networks, and endpoints (Windows & Linux).
- Enforce the Doctrine – Define and operationalize standards for access control, patching, backups, incident response, and endpoint defense.
- Secure the Ground – Design and operate physical security and access control systems, including facilities and hardware.
- Stay Audit-Ready – Ensure compliance (e.g. NIS2), run internal reviews, coordinate audits and penetration tests, and monitor for breaches.
- Enable the Mission – Support teams with fast, reliable IT — from onboarding to VLANs, source control, and rapid deployments.
You should apply if you
- Proven Deployment Experience – 3+ years in IT, security, or infrastructure engineering, owning systems end-to-end.
- Microsoft Stack Mastery – Deep expertise in Microsoft 365, Intune, Autopilot, and Entra ID.
- Hardening & Monitoring Expertise – Strong skills securing Windows/Linux systems with SIEM/EDR in hybrid environments.
- Network Operations Knowledge – Hands-on experience with VLANs, VPNs, RADIUS, and physical infrastructure (fiber & copper).
- Startup Mindset – You balance security, speed, and usability, adapt quickly, and communicate with clarity.
- Language Skills – Fluent English required; German is a strong plus (Munich-based environment).
Nice to haves
- Background in defense, aerospace, or other security-critical sectors.
- Experience with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Scripting & automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
